Winkston - Bed and Breakfast

At Winkston we offer 3 star (from Visitscotland) bed and breakfast with a family, twin and double rooms in our Georgian stone-built country house just to the north of Peebles, off the A703. We have been established 21 years, and welcome guests to log fires, home baking and healthy Scottish breakfasts.

Guests have access to their own lounge with open fire, Sky TV and VCR.

Breakfast is served in a separate room beyond the guest lounge, have a look at the menu to see what you can expect at breakfast time:

Starter - Cereal, Grapefruit, Prunes or Fresh Orange.

Then choose from a selection of:

Choice No. 1:
Grilled Bacon, Pork Sausages, Mushrooms lightly cooked in butter and seasonings, Grilled Tomato, Hash Browns (grilled potato cakes), Eggs cooked to your choice (fried, scrambled, poached or boiled).

Choose all or any combination of the above!

Choice No. 2:
Selection of Scottish Cheeses served with Scottish oatcakes

Choice No. 3:
Healthy option of selection of Fresh Fruit.
